The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support their Window Solutions business within a busy, customer-focused sales office.
This is a key internal role, acting as the first point of contact for customers and supporting the wider sales function through order processing, customer liaison, and administrative support. The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring excellent customer service standards while supporting commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries and order processing
- Liaising with customers, manufacturing plants, and warehouses to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time
- Ensuring high levels of customer care and service standards are consistently met
- Providing administrative support to the internal and external sales teams
- Working closely with Credit Control to ensure customer accounts remain up to date
- Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers via telephone
- Processing customer claims efficiently and professionally
- Supporting the Window Solutions sales strategy
- General office and sales administration duties
Candidate Profile
- Educated to a good general standard
- Confident and professional telephone manner with strong communication skills
- Highly organised, hardworking, and conscientious
- Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-orientated sales office environment
- Computer literate with good attention to detail
- Knowledge of construction or building products is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn are valued more than specific industry experience
